Westbury Leigh School Status
The school is currently seeing a number of cases which take classes to thresholds and this is a pattern we are seeing across the school over time. We have put in place the following contingency measures so that this is managed without having to change the way we work each time:
- Enhanced hand washing and hygiene measures
- Enhanced cleaning
- Staggered entry and exit
- No large group mixing
- Where needed, face masks may be introduced for short periods of time
Threshold classes are contained in bubbles to minimise the spread of infection, parents are informed if their child is in a threshold class. We constantly review of contingency measures and risk assessment in line with public health guidance. We are proud to take everyone’s safety and wellbeing seriously.
